Jasmine always receives compliments from him, whether it’s her dress, her eyes, her nose, or even her hands. But this time it feels different. Having him compliment her work although it’s not something new, just the fact that he complimented a drawing that she made purposefully to earn money makes her feel all the more confident about it.
