Jade’s pov: A week passed since I resumed training as any dedicated warrior would. The mornings were dedicated to wolf training. On most afternoons, however, I trained as a witch, under Paulina’s guidance. Indeed, she might call me mistress, but I was still a real damn novice at this. She gave me a grimoire to look into, and I often found myself studying it. I was curious, sure, but I also wanted to be able to use my powers without overexerting myself.
