"Have you heard anything yet?" Ari asked, making me shake my head no as I tried not to think too much about it.
I mean, this wasn't the first time Beckett has ignored me.
Well, he hasn't exactly ignored me completely. I still got a text from him last night, but I won't lie and say I was hoping he would sneak back into my room again. I even left my bedroom door cracked just in case. I'm still not sure how he even got into our dorm, to begin with.
Nope, all I got was a "Did you eat dinner?" text... which I thought meant he might ask me out to eat or something, so I said no. I was completely wrong, instead he responded by saying I better eat or I will be in trouble.
I probably would've gone to bed starving if it meant he would come and punish me, but of course I already gorge
