I rolled onto my side. I opened my eyes and gasped. He was staring up at the ceiling.  I laid there dumbfound.  His long, dark eyes lashes formed a thick hood over his eyes. His brow were super dark and thick. His has a long, straight nose. His wavy, ebony hair was spread out on my pillow. His hair looked like the finest silk I’ve ever seen. His jawline was incredibly define, his mouth was slight part and his lips are darkish pink. He looked at me and my heart just about stopped. His eyes are super light orangish-brown. Perhaps amber in colour? His skin was olive, flawless, and give off a warm glow that looked almost angelic.    He never blinked once. I sat up and so did he. He’s so....I don’t even know what word could possibly describe him. He could be Aphrodite’s twin brother or something. His feature are as striking as Lucas’. I pushed his hair off his face.” I still don’t see a monster.” He laughed. His teeth are long, white and straight. It softened his face by a landslide giving him that boy next door exterior. It must have been those crater sized dimples. I leaned forward to bite the right one and immediately regretted my decision. He’s so cold, my teeth started to ache. He flicked my nose, playfully. “Serves you right.” He said. It was then I got hear his accent clearly. It was different and made him sound older and wiser than his time. Whenever that was. I rolled my eyes. He chuckled.” Did you sleep well?” I blushed.” Yes.” “Good.” He said. He grabbed my hand and pulled me into him. He bit his lip, mischievously. He rest his forehead on mine and interlocked our fingers. We looked into each other’s eyes.” I’m going to let you in on a little secret. Ok?” I nodded. He wrapped my arms around his neck and smiles. “You can tell my mood by the colour of my eyes.” He states,” red when I’m very, very angry or hungry.” I watched in awe as specks  of crimson red  into his iris the spread across iris like running painting. “That’s amazing.” The exact effect happened when his eyes turns back to amber.” Calm.” “Can all vampires do that... the change their eye colour as well?” I asked. “No, not from what I’ve seen or know of. Their eyes are usually same as when they died—sometimes a bit enhanced and red when hungry.”  “Oh...so is your eyes brown then they turn amber when you died?”  “Yes but they were dark brown actually. Like this.” His eyes turned dark brown. The effect was more like the sea crashing against the shore.  Dark brown made his featured appear more warm and inviting. The colour is beautiful reflected every light that graced them. It suits him but then again so does amber.” This when I was awakened.” The colour did not change but the lights reflecting in his eyes appear more prominent. His eyes somewhat resembles a galaxy is caught in them.“ And as I got older they became amber.”  “The dark brown galaxy like eyes mean?” “It varies between different emotions, quite often when my venom is need to be expelled.” He says. He kissed the tip of my nose. “What happens if you don’t get rid of it?” I asked. “To me? Nothing but if I want to keep kissing you, which I plan to do, a lot. I’ll have to expel it every four hours or so, so I won’t risk turning you unintentionally.” “That must be a hustle.” He shrugged. “I have being doing it a long time so I’m use to it.” He states. “So you’ve must have kissed a lot of humans then.” I grumbled. I didn’t hide my bitterness. He laughs. “Yes....quite a few, I managed to turn at least two.”  “What does is look like. The venom...I mean.” “Saliva but slightly thicker. It’s safe outside your body but once’s it’s inside you’re in for a very rough ride.” He said, smiling. “What is it like? Becoming a vampire.” “To become come a vampire you’ll have to go through two processes. Turning and the Awakening. Turning is all out the most painful—physical pain you have ever felt then jam all together and then multiple that by several Watts thousand.” I thought about having my period, getting my wisdom teeth pulled out and when I broke my left leg. Ouch.” It hurts so much because the venom act like a parasite and when it getting to your heart it stops. Things are calm like the eye of a hurricane. The venom gives you one last jolt of excruciating pain before it makes it’s way to your brain. The Awakening, now that is the easy part because you’re already dead. At this time the venom is repairing what you’re lost . You don’t wake up until you’re ‘prefect’. Unfortunately, it can regrow limps or repair sight or any other disability. But when you do wake you have the biggest challenge to face. The hunger.” “Wow. I don’t never want to become a vampire.” I blurted. He grinned.  “Thank goodness.” He kisses me. I wrapped my arms tighter around his neck. He pulled my onto his lap. His lips are so soft but cold. He cupped my cheeks and deepen the kiss. He pulled away quickly, staring at the door. He pecked my lips quickly then disappears leaving behind a cool gush of wind. The door opens and dad stick his head inside. “Morning lovebug.” He says. “Morning Dad.” I said. “Brunch is ready.” “Ok, I’ll be right down.” I informed. He left and locked the door. I let out a sigh out relief.  “Breakfast sound really nice.” He said, scaring me half to death. He walked out of my bathroom and stretches. He was wearing a black shirt that stretch over his muscular arms and broad chest. He wasn’t massively built but how did he even fit into that thing. He also had on jeans and my pink bunny slipper, that ain’t even half way on his feet. I’m a size seven and a half. He’s probably a seventeen or something. “Sorry for scaring you.” “It’s ok.” I sighed. I looked at him. He so tall he had to bend his head to get out of the bathroom.” How tall are you.” He scratched his head then rocked on his heels.” Around 7 foot one and a half. My jaw dropped. “So basically a human skyscraper.”  He laughs and nods.“ I guess you say that.”  “And why do you have on my bed slippers.” “I don’t know what you’re talking about.” He says. I blinked and he was kneel on my bed.” Go eat, I’ll be back in a few.” He smiles with a small smile. “Where are you going?” “To fed.” He said.  “Oh.”   “Yes, I’ll back soon.” He pecked my lips. “Hey.” “Hm.” He answered. “You forgot to tell me your name.” “Hasani del Rossi.” He said, smiling. I blinked and he was gone. He’s a del Rossi. Boom! My mind is officially blown to pieces.
