It all happened so fast, one minute Aiden and i were reading the note and the next minute he had his hands wrapped around Mallory's throat up against the wall. We are all yelling at him to put her down but it was like he finally snapped, he didn't hear a word any of us was saying. Mallory was gasping for air, clawing at his arms and hands trying to break free. And then it was over, he snapped her neck like a twig and dropped her body to floor like she was a piece of trash. Aiden stormed out of the room leaving the rest of us in complete and utter shock.
"Now what? Now what the f**k do we do? She was our only lead!"
"Not necessarily Evie calm down."
"Calm down? Calm down? How the f**k can we calm down?"
