**Amelia's POV**
My blood ran cold when I looked over Roman's shoulder, and read the note. Kacy had so much hate towards me, and she just met me a couple of days ago. I can't believe she killed her mate. Even though he rejected her, to kill someone you love, that must have destroyed her. Is that why she is acting crazy? Maybe it unhinged her? I could see Roman yelling and my parent's trying to calm him, but I couldn't hear it. My ears were filled with the rapid beating of my heart, and my shallow breaths. So much, too much going on. The tournament, Roman being a Demon Wolf, our wedding being ruined, rogues trying to enter the fight, and now Kacy wanting to kill me. Why did it seem like the entire universe was against Roman and I?
The tears quickly filled my eyes, and raced down my face.
