Months have passed since the Apocalypse began, and the government is still trying to figure out how to get rid of them all, despite the fact that some have already mutated into special lurkers that are difficult for regular people to kill.
Scientists were developing a series of cures, but they were unsuccessful. Mira became chief after a tenuous training with General Larkin, and she had her own team to lead. They served as the recon team, but they also occasionally assisted in locating supplies as the number of refugees increased.
