La GomeraGuy waited for the bullet to strike and tried to brace himself. Instead, he heard a scuffle above followed by a scream. He dived behind a bollard, grimacing as his foot twisted. “You stupid old man,” screamed Kristina, knocking the lunging form of Blackie away. “I should shoot you now.” “You couldn't,” scoffed Blackie, scrambling away back inside as she raised the gun and fired. “Sailor boy, how the hell did you get here? Too tough for the sharks?” she yelled down to Guy. He didn't stop to answer as bullets flew around him. He managed to get further behind the bollard, flattening himself against the far side whilst trying to get his breath back. With a twisted ankle, he realised that he was a sitting duck if she came down. There were more shouts and then he heard the unmistakable
