They said life was hard and I hardly ever understood that until I had to see the woman I loved everyday and act like I didn't care or even know her like that at all. I'd watch her communicate with the other people at the meetings and it would make me sick to my stomach because I wanted that to be me.
I stayed away from her though. I tried not to sit next to her and I also tried to converse with other people I saw.
Today was no different. I was starting to get used to this.
"so.. Are you seeing anyone?" this other guy said pouring me a drink and I furrowed my brows at him, "what?"
"are you in a relationship of some sort?" he asked handing me a glass and I took it then shook my head, "oh no..."
"good.. I'd like to take you out on a date then. If that's okay with you.."
