Evan's POV
After Waeland left yesterday, I tried talking to my dad. But, he and Jake had already left for the night, leaving a note that they'd be back by morning. I didn't really question it, so I just decided to go to bed early, having nothing else to do.
When I woke up this morning, I saw that I had a message from Waeland. He told me to meet him at the school gate a couple minutes before school.
So, here I am. Standing outside of the school and I have been for almost ten minutes now. Honestly, I would stay longer, but I don't want to be late to class. And I definitely don't want to start a streak with the detention room.
