  Liora's POV   “You can’t keep doing that.” I crossed my arms and tried to stand my grounds.   Rowan raised an eyebrow. “Doing what?” He was active oblivious to his actions.   “That,” I snapped, gesturing vaguely between us. “Dragging me into dark corners. Marking me like I’m yours. Intervening whenever it suits you like I’m… like I’m some kind of possession.”   He stared at me, slow-burning and unreadable, and I hated that I couldn’t tell what he was thinking.
