  Liora's POV   The moment the car pulled away, I let out a slow breath I hadn’t realized I’d been holding. Rowan’s presence lingered in the air even after he was gone, heavy and impossible to ignore. I stood there for a moment outside the building, shaking off the strange mix of irritation and… something else he always left in his wake, before I finally headed up the stairs to Raya’s apartment.
