The air inside the holding area was already heavy with tension, the kind that made even the officers at their desks look up and pretend to be busy. Selene was there boiling in her head.
"You can come out now, you've been released on bail for now, you will have to return in the morning to fill out some paper works" One of the officers said to her and she just glared daggers at the officer. She had been utterly embarrassed in front of them but still held her head up in pride, she wasn't going to be stepped on.
