After talking to Callan, I made my way outside the pack house. I wanted some fresh air to be able to think about how I was going to get close enough to the pack so that I could meet with Jasper and Nathan.
I will send them a mind link, but I also wanted to see them in person so that I could know exactly what I was up against.
I knew that Jasper was on my side, but Nathan I wasn't sure. He did defend me a couple of times as I can remember. But that goes far beyond what I wanted to ask of him since I wasn't sure if he would willingly help me.
I wanted to know what was happening with Darius and why my mark suddenly disappeared. I knew that something was wrong with the pack as well; they felt off, disconnected of sorts.
