Luca's POV
Today is the day. The day when I announce to my family that my beautiful daughter will be engaged to Lin. I like the kid. He seems to have his head screwed on straight, and seems to be very respectful. I expect that he respects any of the decisions that my daughter will make. I can't say that I am not angry with myself. I am furious that this seems to be the only way to peace.
The brotherhood will be in attendance today. We have not had much of a chance to discuss this. I have been side tracked trying to find another way. I fear that this will anger them. They lost many men in the war that passed. Wade particularly. So I pray that this goes well.
