Luca's POV
It wasn't right of me to snap at Leo the way that I did, but his attitude towards his mother recently is really starting to piss me off. I couldn't care less how he treats me, but he will not disrespect his mother. She has been through enough to last a lifetime, and I always swore to protect her however I needed. That includes our children.
I stare at Mara's ass as we climb the stairs. We are both stressed, but I would say it is worse for her. She always takes everything on. Even when she doesn't have to. I reached up and smacked her on the ass, making her yelp and turn around to look at me. I smirked at her facial expressions, as her cheeks turned red. "Behave", she chastised. "Oh, I am", I said, with a slight chuckle.
Mara started the water for the bath, as I slipped out
