6. The Mark We Bear.

The room seemed to get colder as I walked in, the side of the bed she had slept in was dented so it meant that it hadn't been that long since she was in bed.

I tried not to panic as I listened extra carefully for any sound that would indicate where she was but I heard nothing, it was a silent night, and everywhere was dead quiet.

Next, I looked around for any sign of struggle, anything that might indicate that she was taken forcefully, but then again if our enemies were witches, they could take her away from me leaving no trace.

No trace, no, the mate bond, of course, I would feel something if my mate was in danger.

"Mace." The balcony french doors opened slowly and the wind blew Jade's voice to me.

"Jade." I turned to her, a mixture of shock and relief on my face.

She ran to me and jumped into my arms, my heart did a triple flip.

Was she hurt? Had they gotten to her and she had only managed to escape them.

"Jee was just here." She said and I took a deep breath.

She had left the bed because Jee had come to see her, she wasn't taken and the witches hadn't hurt her or tried to take her away from me.

I seriously needed to chill.

Her tears wetting my shirt pulled me away from my thoughts, I knew how much Jee's disappearance affected her.

"I'm sorry babe." I comforted her and held her in my arms.

"She came to warn me," Jade said suddenly and pushed me away from her.

I frowned, there was no way I could keep this a secret from her, she had already found out thanks to Jee.

"I know." I sighed, there was no use hiding it now.

"Sirius called me down to the dungeon to talk about his discoveries and the danger we currently face."

"The dungeon?" She asked, confused. "I didn't know we had a dungeon."

"Yeah, it's kind of really off-limits," I said and hoped she didn't smack me on the head because her expression darkened.

"What did he show you?" She asked instead.

"A dead body," I answered casually and she gasped.

I had forgotten that she just recently became supernatural, she was an ordinary human a year ago.

Death was normal for me, I had seen so many dead bodies that it almost seemed normal for me.

"It was Damien." I continued when she remained quiet. "He was the mole I had a hunch about and he was killed by some kind of self-destruct spell."

"Damien the gamma was the mole!" She was very surprised.

"Yes, I know it's very shocking and that's why we can't trust anyone from now on, please keep all that you know secret." I pulled her back into my arms and inhaled her scent.

"Jee said that the dark force is stronger than we think, she said the only way to overcome evil is by being together," Jade said, looking up at me.

"I always want to be with you Jade, you're my Luna, my true mate, I'm nothing without you." I kissed away the knot that had formed on her brows.

"I love you, my Alpha." She said and Adrien growled before I smashed my lips on hers.

We kissed passionately and she kept backing up until she hit the foot of the bed and we collapsed on the bed, a tangled mess of hands, legs, and clothes.

"I want you so much Jade, I'm not sure I can wait," I warned her as my eyes began to flicker between blue and golden, it was getting very difficult to hold back, especially after she called me her Alpha.

Unknowingly, she just brought out the dominant side of me and I couldn't wait to have her under me.

"I want you too, Mace, please." She whispered, pressing me closer to her.

Without wasting any more time, I reached down to take off her panties, my fingers brushed her bare flesh and I growled in approval.

I put two fingers in to prepare her even though she was already dripping so wet, I could've taken her immediately.

"Please." She moaned and dug her nails into my back.

Her nails scraping down my back gave me an idea and I flipped her on top of me.

"Ride me," I growled in her ear taking off the flimsy nightgown she still had on.

Her face took on another shade as she blushed and I wondered for a second if she wouldn't do it.

She positioned my d*ck directly under her and she sank into it without wasting more time.

"Ahhh." She moaned and stilled with me deep inside her.

"F*ck," I growled and held my breath as the sensations rushed through me.

"You feel so f*cking good, Jade, please move." I squeezed her hips softly and urged her to move by pushing my hips slightly upwards.

She started slowly but then she increased her pace and her moans bounced off the walls, louder than they had ever been before.

I let her catch her breath for a few seconds and then I knelt behind her and laid her face down on the bed.

"Ouch." She moaned like she was in pain, I thought she didn't like it but when I placed my fingers on her folds, she was dripping wet.

The moon goddess sure knew what she was doing when she gave Jade to me as my mate.

Adrien howled in delight and he begged me to let him take over.
