‘Alpha. We found her.’
Jace's voice came through the mind link and my entire body went still.
‘Where?’
‘Giselle's bringing her in now. They're about twenty minutes out.’
Twenty minutes.
I was going to meet my mate in twenty minutes.
‘Thanks. Keep me updated.’
I cut the link and just stood there in my office for a second, trying to process.
She was coming here. Willingly. Giselle must have convinced her somehow, which was a goddamn miracle considering how our first meeting went.
My wolf stirred immediately. ‘Mate. Mate is coming. Need to see her. Now.’
"I know. Calm down."
‘Calm? CALM?’ He was practically vibrating under my skin. ‘Our mate is coming and you want me to calm down?’
"We scared her last time. We need to—"
‘Claim her. Mark her. Make her ours.’
