I walked into the kitchen while tiredly rubbing my eyes. I was still wearing the clothes I had put on to go to bed in and I frowned when I saw Rowan sitting at the island counter and having breakfast with my family. I took the last open seat and Mum put a plate with scrambled eggs, grilled tomatoes and a small grilled chicken breast while they had beacon and fried eggs with sausages and onion rings. I shook my head. Always leave it up to Mum to keep me on a diet I had no business being on. “You look tired.” Rowan stated and I hummed in response as I started eating my breakfast.
