** DAN’S POV **
Max had slept off in my arms after we had dinner together so I got my staff to put him to bed as I sat at the mini bar counter pouring myself a drink. I heard footsteps; coming down the stairs ‘is there someone still left’ I thought and didn’t bother to look around.
I heard Leo’s voice “Where is Max?” ‘That’s the first question he asks after pulling a disappearing act on me?’ I decided to ignore the irritation in me and replied to him that Max is sleeping in one of the bedrooms, he didn’t even let me finish before he bombarded me with questions about the little witch ‘Eva’ ‘so she has got you to fall for her as well huh!’ our little back and forth was starting to annoy me so I simply ordered him to get out.
