** MAX’S POV **
There was an announcement made for a cake eating competition and the winner would be getting one each of all the varieties of the pastries they had along with a special cake. An idea popped in my mind I waved for uncle Leo to come closer and whispering in his ears about my plan. We did our thumbs up under the table winking at each other.
Eva looked at me squinting her eyes “What are you both up to?”
I stuffed cake in my mouth shaking my head “it’s uncle Leo and my secret. We are having a man to man talk.”
Eva perked her eyebrows up with a smile on her lips “Man to man talk huh?”
My dad looked at me “heyyy I am a man so why am I not included?”
Eva rolled her eyes “You are more like a big baby.” She immediately clapped her hands over her mouth.
