The organizer called my name and then Eva’s name as one of the couples to be competing, which made Eva and I look at each other and then at Max and Leo who sat there smirking.
“NO” came our voice in unison as Eva and I refused to take part. Max being Max made puppy dog eyes wailing “I wanna have that cake please participate and win that for me please Dad please Eva.” When we didn’t budge Max resorted to blackmail.
