JACOB let out a soft sigh as he looked above the dark skyline shimmered by the stars and moon. Then he looked at the lake. The lake lay still beneath the moonlight, its surface smooth as glass, framed by dark pines and a sky smeared with stars. It was quiet out here… too quiet for Station Argent. He could have come this far to clear his head. But he stopped when his eyes landed on a figure in the water. It was Danica.
