I had just stepped out of the bathroom when I heard the final part of Jude and Darius’s conversation. Neither of them saw me slip in the house, both of them had been deep in their conversation. I had no doubts that my brother was giving Jude “The Speech” that he gave all of my boyfriends. It had always been embarrassing in highschool but now that I'm an adult, now that I have a child of my own, I understand where he's coming from.
