49 Sage entered the clubhouse and surveyed the scene. Like cattle at a watering trough, the men sat along a bar lined with beer bottles and shots of liquor. Gunner sprinted here and there, attempting to serve the rowdy crew. A few other clubs were visiting for a big meeting, so there were several new faces. Sage smiled as she spotted Tank and Loki. Although there were a few holdouts, most of the brothers had come to terms with Sage’s presence. Recently, even Loki seemed more relaxed around her despite his issues with Kingdom. He acknowledged her, if one counted a head nod and grunt as a greeting, and last week, he had even struck up a conversation with her.
