Sage saw blood spray everywhere and screamed. She threw herself around Cutter to try to stop Kingdom, but Cutter caught her by the waist and snapped, “Leave them.”
Tears tore down her cheeks into the cut on her lip. “They’re going to kill each other!” Sage strained her head but could see nothing past the tight circle of brothers enclosing the two men. She tried twisting out of his grasp, but he hauled her over his shoulder and dragged her off. Pushing against the crush of bodies, he managed to get to the outskirts of the room. He strode down an empty hallway and veered into an office. The door closed behind them, he firmly removed her heaving body off his shoulder and set her away from him. He crossed his arms and stood guard against the door.
