Tristan I feel silly in this outfit, like a poser, but Carley wanted to fit in with the cowboy vibe and what Carley wants, she will get. I pace up and down in the living room while I wait for the girls to come out of the room, wondering if I will fit in with them or if I will feel even more like a poser. Maria is the first one to walk out of the room, a smile on her face as she winks at me and then nearly skips towards me. I am taken by how happy she looks at this moment, her smile bright and her entire being seems lighter. I try to think of the last time I saw her smile like this, but the last time I can remember was just before we left on that trip, when she hugged Carley goodbye and made her promise to send her a postcard from every island.
