COLTON'S POV
My wolf is scratching to be freed and let loose so he can hunt down Marco and rip him to pieces. I wanted to go directly from the airport to his sorry excuse of pack house and get Galina, but I was told to report back here.
So here I am, pacing in Aldric's office, waiting for him to show up, waiting for him to tell me something, just waiting. But the time for waiting and talking has passed. I need to be moving, going forward, and finding my mate.
The door opens, and when Aldric enters, I notice that he has two guards posted. Feeling even more trapped, I can sense the beginning ripples of a shift coming on.
"Guards? What am I a prisoner now?" I growl at him. He shoots me a warning to watch myself, but I don't care. I am too amped to follow the hierarchy. My mate needs me.
