Alpha Xavier had decided that the fight between Clay and I would take place the following morning. We would fight on the same patch of lawn that the pack meeting had taken place on. Alpha Xavier had made it clear the fight would be in human form only, no weapons allowed. I had no issues with this, but I knew Clay. I knew he took after our father. So, I was prepared for him to cheat during the fight. Whether he chose to cheat by shifting into wolf form or sneaking a weapon on his person, I wasn’t sure, but I knew he would find a way to cheat.
