Carrie stared at the door, she should be sleeping, but she was sitting there waiting. She wouldn’t say that she was waiting for him to come, but she wanted to be awake when he showed up so that she could stop him from coming into her cabin.
Maverick told her not to let him in if he came back tonight. Carrie looked at the time on her phone. It was already 4 am. It was late, or early, Carrie shook her head because she should be sleeping, not guarding her cabin. It looked like she was waiting for him.
