"Rayon?" I cried as a tear left my eye.
He let out a whimper and climbed off of me, allowing me to sit up. I crawled closer to him, and hugged his face, burying mine into his fur.
"Where have you guys been?" I sobbed, holding him tight. "I didn't even know if you people were alive. We were trying so hard to look for you, but you guys just disappeared. Are you okay?" I pulled away to look at him.
He slowly shifted back into his human form, and I pulled him into a tight hug. He leaned his forehead on my shoulder, and the only emotions I could feel on him were fear, desperation and regret.
"You're okay," I whispered, running one hand down his back while the other caressed the back of his head. "I'm here. You're okay."
