I get my cell phone out to look at her picture again. What the hell 17 messages and there all from the same person. Vanessa. Damn, I don't bother reading them. I just delete them all and block her number. Enough, she has a mate. Guy Patterson. He seems very caring and understanding. He acknowledged Vanessa as his mate straight away. Why couldn't I do that? What is going on with me? I'm such an asshole. Why couldn't I be honest with everyone, including Mandy?
