The preparations for the party were underway, I could see with the way everyone was busy while I was standing at the balcony. Everyone seemed so excited about the past and I wasn’t sure if all the excitement was because of all the free food and wine they would be getting or they were just excited to finally be celebrating their king. I could now see the reason why Alpha Robert felt like he couldn’t trust his pack members. Whatever reason they had for being this excited they had no business celebrating a king that had degraded their alpha and made him feel like he was nothing. Why would they betray their own alpha because of food and wine? And why would they even want to celebrate a king who cared about no one but himself?
