NEIL’S POV
I jumped up from the bed thinking that Elena was in the hut but there was no one. I ran outside thinking that maybe I would see her but there was no one out there either. I had heard her so clearly and I was so sure that she was here but there was no one. I walked back into the hut and looked around, I even looked under the bed, and as stupid as it sounds thought that I would see her underneath the bed. I picked up one of the shirts that Elena used to wear hoping that it still had some of her scents but I was heartbroken to discover it didn’t. It was drenched in Jade’s scent and I felt sick as I threw it away.
I threw myself on the bed and covered my head with a pillow as Elena’s voice kept echoing in my head voice in my head was so clear in my head as if she was right here. I
