NEIL'S POV
After picking Elena's necklace and almost getting caught doing so, I decided to leave and go back home. I knew if I stayed longer I would have done something to get myself caught again. when I got home I slept a little better knowing that I had the very piece of evidence that could have gotten Elena caught. my father returned home the following morning and I heard him talking about how he was going with the other Alphas to the king's palace to confront him about the current developments in what they thought was a danger to them
I could see how delighted my father was when he was talking about something that would bring discomfort to the King and I didn't even want to imagine what he would do so Elena if he ever found out that she was the phoenix and that I knew about it.
