ELENA'S POV
When I got home I was shaking in fear that I almost got caught and fear that my father would soon find out what I did. if he found out what I did, I would never be allowed to go outside of my room for a very long time and the thought of not seeing Neil just drove me crazy.
I could hardly sleep that night and I kept pacing around my room trying to think of an excuse that I would give my father for being outside. I couldn't tell him that it wasn't me because he had already told me that there could only be one phoenix in a lifetime and I knew I was the only one. the only excuse that I could tell him is that I was out training. I knew he would be mad about that but at least its effects wouldn't be as bad as telling him I was with Neil.
