We either need to ask Demetrius for more workers and train them or tell Cyrus that we urgently need more betas.”
Canon looked up at me with an annoyed look on his face. We were in his office, but things were a little different than usual. The curtains and windows were open, and it was almost cold in the room. Canon usually liked things dark and stuffy.
I couldn’t help but grin.
“I’m aware of our situation. Why the hell are you smiling like that?” he growled.
