I chuckled at Addison’s comment as I left the hotel but was also a little taken aback. I had no idea that betas could talk to me through bonds. As far as I knew, no one at Alder Fang had tried to do that. I would have felt far less alone had some of the members tried to connect. Maybe Talon had blocked them out? There was no way of knowing that since now he was dead.
Actually dead. I’d lied about him being dead, and now he was.
