The vacation was something else, Lisa had really enjoyed her time with Adrian's family which was soon to be family that is if fate allowed them of destiny brought them together.
They had stayed with his folks from three days before they came back to the country to continue running their company
Adrian's dad owned a big company in the city 'Kimani Smart Tech company' it death with IT and electronics such as phones, laptops, tablets.
It was a well doing company and many investors had invested in the company.
Debby left a day later and they remained just the three of them, Sharon,Adrian and her. They got along well with Sharon and became friends.
It was the last day before they went back to Kenya,they were at the beach on the shores of the ocean,sun basking and snapping pics of themselves when Lydia's call came through.
" Hey b***h?" Lydia shouted at the other end and Lisa shrieked.
"b***h you gonna blow my ears with that freaking voice of yours"
"It's good that way since you can't even call me while you there"
"Really, we talked yesterday Lydia stop complaining"
" Well that was yesterday what about today huh?! Would you have called me if I didn't think much of doing it myself"
"Relax I know where this is all coming from, is someone PM sing?" Lisa asked and she chuckled on the other end.
"f**k you b***h, how is that connected to you not calling me?"
"Wow someone's going to get laid today so don't worry about that, it'll be taken care of"
"You're so damn funny Lisa, how's everyone there doing?"
"We're all fine in fact Adrian and Sharon are here with me?" She said while eyeing Adrian who was busy talking to Sharon on the other end
"Well greet them for me and who's Sharon?"
"Sharon is Adrian's younger sister, she's a sweet being we get along so much well"
"Wow I'm happy for you sweetheart and want about his folks?"
"Ooh they're good, though they left the other day,they had some business to attend to, and Debby, Adrian's elder sister left yesterday"
"Wow how did his mom react you know how mothers-in-law react sometimes"
"Well we got along and all I can say is that she likes me,she's a Kamba by the way just like my mom"
"Wow that's good,I wanna see you though can we switch to a video call?"
"Sure yes let me get my earphones" Lisa said and shifted her position. Lydia hanged up and two minutes later a video call came through.
"Babe can I get my earphones, over here please?"
" What do you wanna do with them, I was using them you know?"
"Yeah I know you can use those headphones, I wanna talk to Lydia she's video calling me hurry up"
"No need for that I wanna be in the video too, just receive"
"Me too Lisa, I'm coming" Sharon said from the other end.
Lisa had no otherwise than engaging them in the video too.
They talked about lots of things before Lisa suggested she go to her house because she had missed her grandma despite ,she wanted to introduce Adrian to her
"Hey grandma?" Lisa said excitedly on the other end and her Grandma smiled
"Hey princess, I miss you, who's that talking in the background? Wait you one the beach right?"
"Ooh yes Grandma I'm with Adrian and his sister Sharon, mind to say hi to them?"
"Of course princess why wouldn't I?
Adrian and Sharon came through and talked to her, Lisa's grandmother was a Kikuyu too from Kirinyaga and she happened to know both Kikuyu and luo. They communicated with Adrian and Kikuyu and she really liked him for Lisa.
Just them Roy came through, he was just from playing basketball in the neighborhood.
"Hey sis you look gorgeous, how's life over there?"
"Pretty much fine, how you doing?"
"I'm good sis I just miss you, well everyone does, when are you coming back?"
"Probably after a day or two I'll keep you posted"
"And where's that cute prince charming of yours?"
" He's over here, Adrian come say hi to my brother"
"Hey man,how you?"
"I'm good man, take care of my sis, heard you play basketball?"
"I promise I will, ooh yeah I do play basketball what about you,do you like it?"
"Of course I only basketball ball too and I'm a fan"
"Wow that makes you my greatest friend we shall catch up later?"
"Sure yeah"
Roy handed the phone back to his grand mom who continued to talk to Lisa for a while before they finally hung up.
Lisa was happy and extremely excited, she had really missed her family and finally Adrian got to meet his family.
"By the way babe, i really like your Grandma, she's a sweet being"
"She's always sweet and she said she likes you too, and by the way she also said we should keep safe and abstain"
Adrian laughed so hard that tears started trickling down his cheeks,Lisa joined him too.
They wished her Grandma knew they would never get enough of each other but then they'll always keep safe and protect themselves till the right time.
"That's ludicrous babe" he said amidst his laugh
"I know to us but not to her"
Sharon was closely following their conversation.
"So you mean you guys already did it?" She asked jokingly
"Did what little sister" Adrian asked with a smile pestered on his lips
"Come on bro stop behaving as if you don't know what I'm talking about, or let me ask Lisa,I know she can't lie to me, Lisa did you guys do it like do it, you know what I'm taking about?"
"I'm innocent Sharon I don't know what you're talking about ask your brother maybe he might be in a position to tell you more and in details"
"You guys suck, anyways let me get back to the bach, you know we going back tomorrow right? So let me go and pack my bags"
"I'll be right behind you, wait for me" Lisa said as she stood up to follow Sharon and Adrian did the same too
