It was yet another Monday morning . Monday being a boring as it had already started showing, Lisa had no other option than to wake her lazy ass up and prepare for her morning class.

She woke up at six and started preparing herself for the class.

The class was scheduled at 8 so she was to be at school by at least 7:30.

She walked towards her window and drew the curtains, looked through the window as it was her norm and walked straight to the bathroom.

After her morning routine, she walked out of the bathroom and head to her closet just across her bed.

She always had a routine on each day of the week. Being a Monday she decided to go with a high waist black ripped jeans, a shiny silver strapless spaghetti top, black denim jacket and shiny silver Converse.

She prepared some coffee for herself and took it in haste. She picked up her black leather back from the wall after making sure she had everything she needed, she walked out of the house and closed the door behind her.

Since it was a few minutes before 7:30 she decided to walk to school.

She was in class after fifteen minutes. She chose a seat in the middle of the class, picked her book from the bag and settled.

Since it was a combined class with some of the students in the department of maths, the class was bound to be full in a few minutes.

She started browsing on her phone as soon as she settled, she got no texts so she switched on her data and decided to log in to her w******p.

There were messages from the class group, some other groups, Lesley , Adrian and some more others.

She chose to reply to Lesley first.

Lesley told her they were to meet up in the evening since she had class till late afternoon. She agreed and decided to reply to Adrian.

*teddy bear* hey morning pretty

*Lisa* morning too teddy bear

*teddy bear* wait, did you just call me teddy bear, you so naughty

*Lisa* well, same applies to you, I found it sweet if I saved it like that because I love teddy bears

*teddy bear* that means,if you love teddy bears and you saved me like that, you love me right?

*Lisa* ooh boy don't get too much of yourself, I just said I love teddy bears

*teddy bear* well I know what that means,how many classes today?

*Lisa* just this, I got no other classes today

*teddy bear* any plans today?

*Lisa* no I'm meeting Lesley in the evening then head home

*teddy bear* Can I meet you up in front of the computer lab, after the class that is, I got something for you

*Lisa* okay I'll text you later, the lecture just entered,,bye

She didn't wait for his reply, she switched off her data and put her phone back in her jeans pocket.

Just then on of her group friend came in smiling, Lucinda, was known to be late always no matter what.

She was always late and that was her norm, despite of the numerous warnings from her lecturers, she didn't quite observe her time.

Lisa had booked her a seat beside hers

She squeezed herself until after she reached her seat and settled.

" Hey girl, I missed you how was your weekend?"

" Quite awful but thank God we're here today, so w*****p with you, you never fail to come late to class, do you?

Lucinda laughed heartily and the lecture have her a warning glance but that didn't deter her, she had something to share with Lisa.

Although they shared a lot but Lisa always made sure she didn't mention everything to her,she was a talkative person who never bothered to care about what she said,so she didn't trust her with her secrets.

Lucinda was a live soul and always jocular and jocund, Lisa loved her company.

" Don't worry about that mrs-right-on-time I have a lot to tell you, you know what happened during the weekend"

"Okay girl, let's concentrate here first then after here we gonna tell each other about our weekend"

The next one hour was so long to Lisa, she kept on turning and tossing on her chair. She kept wondering what Adrian said she had for her.

The lecturer finally left thirty minutes earlier because he had a meeting to attend, being first year's joining week, they were bound to having meetings here and there.

The thirty minutes were enough for the talkative Lucinda to narrate to her about her weekend ordeals.

They walked out together laughing at a joke made my Lucinda immediately the lecturer stepped out.

They walked to the banisters just across the lecture room and held onto them as they made stories and talked about their ordeals.

Lisa went on and told her about Tyler's breakup over the weekend and Lucinda pitied with her, she told her she should move on and find another caring gentleman.

Lucinda stayed in the hostels, she said she had no plans of moving out since she was too lazy to start cooking for herself and mopping the house everyday although she used to visit Lisa once in while.

Lisa's phone chimed and it was a message from Adrian asking her if she was done with the class already but as she opened to reply, her phone started ringing.

She pressed the receive button and placed on her left ear as Lucinda scrutinized her carefully.

"Hey are you out already? I'm waiting for you"

" Yeah, we out already, Lem just come downstairs, you said in front of the computer lab right?"

" No in fact thats why I called, change of plans, I'm sorry for that, meet me at the entrance of the lecture theater"

"Ooh it's okay no problem, I'll be there in a few minutes"

She hanged up and Lucinda gave her a questioning glance.

"What the.."

" Yes I know what the hell Lucinda, no it's not what you thinking girl"

" Enlighten me Lisa who was that guy,huh I'm curious"

" Just some guy we met over the weekend, what's wrong with you Lucinda let's get going he's waiting for me"

They started walking downstairs as they talked.

" Oh and who's the lucky guy if I may ask?"

" You're to inquisitive my dear friend, well the guy's name is Adrian, a third year"

" Wtf girl!, you mean the same Adrian I know or there's another one, the same Adrian taking Bsc information science? I know him wow the guy's a celebrity in this campus,who doesn't know him anyway"

Lisa laughed in response, she loved Lucinda's way of talking, so humorous yet serious

" Yes Lucinda that's him, and there's him I guess I'll see you later"

Before Lucinda could answer, Lisa walked to where Adrian was and Adrian looked up and smiled.

He walked towards her and met her mid away, he hugged her and sniffed her scent, she smelled like heaven, he gave her a brief kiss on her cheek and released her.

Lisa blushed, Adrian was surely making her crazy.

"Lisa"

Aiden called and she turned to face the group of boys behind her.

She walked to them and gave the side hugs, Adrian's friends she guessed.

After hugging them, Aiden complimented her and she smiled and mumbles a thank you.

When she turned back to go to where Adrian was, he was kneeling on one knee.

Lisa was dumbfounded, she never expected that was what Adrian was talking about she watched him as he started talking.

" Lisa, I know you might be knowing less about me but that's doesn't discourage me from making you mine, I've been admiring you for a while a now and my heart can't lie to me, I loved you the first time I set my eyes on you, you're this precious jewel I've been dreaming to have, I know you might be having your own expectations but as for me, I know it's you I want, please Lisa can you be my girlfriend?"

Lisa was lost of words, never in her life has someone went to the thought of proposing to her in front of a multitude of people.

Some of the students had stopped to watch the romantic proposal, Lucinda was among them, Lisa eyed them and her eyes met with Lucinda's, she nodded her head and smiled.

Adrian made her happy, ever since Tyler left a gaping hole in her heart, Adrian had been trying so much to fill it and she thought it would be nice if she accepted him, after all Tyler was gone and she now had him.

"Yes Adrian I'll be your girlfriend"

She said amidst tears and Adrian put the shinning diamond ring on her finger, it sparkled making her heart glow.

Some people watching from a distance clapped and Aiden was doing a quite good job of taking a video of the same.

He hugged her and let her tears fall on his shirt, to him it was his dream come true.
