"ooh sorry guys I didn't introduce you guys"
Adrian said as he walked in with a flask.
" Lisa meet Aiden my best friend and Aiden this is Lisa my.."
He hesitated finishing the sentence as he turned go look at Lisa for an approval,Lisa nodded and he smiled.
"_my girlfriend"
"It's nice finally meeting you Lisa, I'm Aiden, Adrian's best friend"
He stretched his arm to greet her
" It's nice to meet you Aiden, I'm Lisa "
After exchanging pleasantries, they both sat around the table for breakfast.
It took them a few minutes and Adrian excused himself to change into something more presentable.
Aiden was secretly admiring the beauty seated across him, he never knew Lisa was this beautiful, Adrian had occasionally mentioned her name and said he had a crush on her for a long time.
He only wished he had known her prior to this visit, he would have gone for her but unluckily Adrian had already won her over and from the looks of the things, they were both in love with each other.
Lisa decided to text Lesley and check up on her as she waited for Adrian.
Lisa: hey girl
Lesley: hey so you finally decided to know about my existence huh
Lisa: I'm sorry I got caught up in a moment
Lesley: which moment you mean, you and Adrian has something going on,tell me you know I always have your time"
Lisa: huh you're funny Les,Adrian just confessed his feelings for me and I don't know what to tell you ,I'm befuddled for real, I don't if what I'm feeling for him is love or just lust
Lesley:. Adrian has been secretly admiring you Lisa, you were just too blind to notice that and that's why I hooked you guys, you need someone better and Adrian is that guy , don't wanted that time, and then don't confess if you ant sure about your feelings
Lisa: yeah I guess I'll do that, but you never told me about him what kind of a friend are you, you know I'll boot you and choose another bestie to replace you
Lesley: Even the heaven knows you can't do that,I love you Lisa and I always want the best for you, remember you were still overhead in love with Tyler but because right now he's no longer there, it's time you got a perfect gentleman for you, you deserve better.
Lisa: awh that's good of you I love you too and thanks for caring for me
Just before Lesley could reply, Adrian walked in and say besides her, his perfume rented the air. She remembered she still had his hood and smiled
Lisa: bye girl gotta go, Adrian is already here I'll meet you later.
She didn't wait for her reply,she simply switched off her phone and put it back in her back
"What are you smiling at?"
Adrian asked and Lisa just smiled in response.
They walked out of the house together and when they reached on the door,Lisa turned back to him and Said
" I left your hood on the bed"
"Ooh about that, you want to keep it?"
He just asked what she wanted to say and she just nodded in response.
Adrian had no choice than to walk back into the house and walked back with the hood in his hands.
They walked on the stairs silently, Adrian was carrying the hood and the bag for her.
" You want to go to your house right now,or you got any other plans?" Adrian asked
" Nope I wanted to pass by the supermarket first and grab some shopping"
" I'll take you if you comfortable with that"
"Ooh that will be good of you, let's get going then.
It was a walking distance to the mall.
So they just walked and entered in, she took a shopping trolley and Adrian helped her push.
She picked some basic requirements, yoghurt, a box of milk,tissue papers, a tray of eggs, a box of biscuits,maize flour, a bottle of juice and they both walked to the grocery's stall, she picked some vegetables, spices such as coriander seed,turmeric,cloves, ginger, cinnamon and some peppercorns.
Adrian encouraged her to pick some more he was going to pay for the shopping.
Lisa argued with him but he heard none of it.
They went on to pick up some more shopping.
The carrier bags were full as they walked out of the supermarket.
Adrian helped her carry the shopping and they took a cab to her place.
When they reached to her place, he helped her carry to the house and helped her arrange them in the kitchen.
Adrian had no plans for that day, he'd rather spend it with her, he couldn't get enough of her, she was so additive.
" So I guess I should get going, thanks for your time Lisa"
" You got plans today? I thought you'd spend some more time with me here, I mean I'm all alone, maybe we can watch a movie together, prepare some lunch "
"Actually I had no plans today rather than playing video games with Aiden, but I'd prefer to stay back with you, I like your company"
Lisa changed into some comfortable clothes and some comfy flip-flops and joined Adrian in bed.
They chose a movie and watched together in silence, Lisa's head was resting on his chest, he liked the feeling but never mentioned.
They later made some lunch together, spaghetti and minced beef.
After spending some more time together, Adrian excused himself, he was going to prepare for the following day, since he had morning classes and Lisa agreed with him.
She also had a morning class and she had to work on the assignment given then previous Monday.
She picked her laptop and started working on the assignment as her phone charged.
It was late in the evening when she was sure she was finally done,she packed her books in her bag and hanged them on the wall.
She proceeded to make dinner for herself.
After eating, she decided to sleep earlier that day.
Her phone chimed and a text message popped in, it was from a new number
*Unknown* goodnight pretty I hope will meet tomorrow after classes
She immediately knew it was Adrian and she took her phone to reply
Lisa: goodnight too handsome
She immediately saved his number as *teddybear*
Teddy bears were her favorite and so was Adrian, she slept off smiling to herself
