Emmett’s P.O.V
So far, I think the plan to make Leah jealous was helping, not that I liked the idea very much though. I ordered her four different kinds of seafood that I knew she wouldn’t refuse. That girl lived for seafood. I overheard her talk with Matthew from primary school. Once during lunch, he asked her what was the one food she couldn’t live without and, without thinking, she said seafood.
“No matter how upset or down I was, all my dad had to do to make me feel better was to buy me seafood, even though I’d still be upset with him the food didn’t do anything to me, so I’d always accepted it.”
She told him
Jessica is a great girl, and clearly in love with her girl.
“So what will you do if this doesn’t work?”
“Keep trying.”
“Really love this girl, huh?”
“With my whole heart.”
