RUTH'S POV
It was now evident to me that Jasper had no intention of coming back home, he had probably killed himself somewhere after finding out that his mate was dead. As a matter of fact, it was going to be better if he was dead and this gave me a great idea. What if I ran to the elders and delivered the news of his death? Surely that would convince them to make me the alpha. Even if Jasper did come back to the pack he wouldn’t be the alpha not only because of the sins they think he committed but also because he abandoned the pack. I got up from my bed and called for my messenger.
“You called for me my queen,” She said as she got into my room and bowed her head
“I need you to go to the packhouse, and tell the elders that I urgently need to see them,” I said
