Through the gloomy darkness a blurry figure appeared. It was a woman. She was tall with a thin frame and short silvery hair. She crouched down, the rain was pouring on her, but she paid it no mind. The wind blew ever so slightly and her black trench coat flapped, resulting in a sound that mimicked leathery wings. Her eyes were narrowed and her full focus was on the street below. To the human eye, it would be impossible to see anyone's face from that distance, but her predatory eyes could see clearly like birds of prey. Her eyes flickered and her already blue eyes turned a shade darker as she honed in to an individual. She scowled in disapproval, her bowed lips twitching in annoyance. Suddenly she stood up and in the blink of an eye she jumped off the ledge. She landed softly in the shadows. A figure peeked out from behind her. She recognized him immediately. "This is bad news. We need to report back to your father." The figure spoke in quick succession. The women heard him but did not answer. "We should go." He continued firmly. "Are you scared?" The women mocked in a soft whisper. "No. We did not come here for bloodshed. We will report back." His voice deepened and his tone became irritated. "Yes. But we already knew they were in our territory, their stench is everywhere. Those monsters won't even hide their smell. They want us to know." Her voice was still low but the venom in her voice could be clearly heard. "And now we can confirm they walk in plain sight. We will head out now." It was an order. With reluctance, the woman followed her partner and they set off. Then the blurry images faded and the observing eyes fell away, suddenly waking up from the lucid dream.
