The following morning, I had to wake Isabella up for us to start our journey to Cielos Rojos. We had to coax Xolo into a giant cage along with giving him a lot of encouragement and treats. Once we got him packed in safe and sound, we were able to start our journey north towards Mexico City and towards Cielos Rojos.
The journey took about two days as expected just because of how many people we had with us. There was a lot of sleeping on the road and even more eating on the road. On day two, we stopped about two miles south of their territory and set up a command center and camp for the night. Once everyone got settled in, we took the opportunity to go over the details one last time.
