We were all stunned into silence. I saw the blood drain from Laa’s face, I thought she was going to go down, but Lucky caught her and steadied her before she did.
“Laa!” I rushed over to her, “do you want to go outside for some air?”
“No, I don’t think so. I just need a minute to process what I just heard” she still looked like she would faint.
“I think we all need a minute to process” Bastien looked unsteady himself.
