“This is surreal” Lucky said as he carried Scarlett’s body into the bathroom where Dylan had run a bath for her. “I just did this with Rowan the night you turned.”
“What!? Lucky you saw me naked?” Dylan teased him, trying to brighten the mood, bless her.
“I kept you covered with towels as best I could” he smiled shyly. “Rowan was inconsolable, he couldn’t do it by himself. He was sure I was lying to him, and you were dead.”
“I love you Lucky, so much. Do you need my help?” Dylan sincerely asked him.
“If you want to, I don’t want you to feel like I’m pushing you out of the way. I know this is as hard for you as it is for me.”
