Less than a minute after the council exited to vote again, Tucker spoke to Elena, “Why would you hurt me like this, Elena? I want you back. No, I need you back, with me. Why would you intentionally hurt me like this?” His voice and tone were low, but we all heard him. The pain that was in his voice spoke volumes. He wasn’t joking, he wanted her back. I could understand that. I have been trying to earn her trust, so she would allow me to mark her, this whole time. I needed to get that done. I already knew that I had loved her already.
