Elena’s POV
I went upstairs with Mom and Dad to head to our rooms. I knew Adrian would be up here soon. I was glad that he thought about bringing a bag for us. He had retrieved it from his SUV before dinner. I took a quick shower and as I dried off, I looked down at my still flat stomach. Awed by the knowledge that I was going to become a mother. I will not let anything happen to my baby. I wouldn’t risk my baby for anything. Mom will be happy to deal with Paige. She will probably be hitting her harder than I would, before ending her. We will let the council check everything out in the morning before we proceed. They are both in cells, so they will not be going anywhere. It won’t matter how long it takes the council to get here.
