RIEKA POV. My heart skipped a beat when Seth referred to me as his daughter. Iknew it must have been a slip of the tongue and that he would probably deny it later, but it meant a lot to me to stand up for me against Slate. Even though it wasn’t necessary and he knew that I could take care of myself, but he did it anyway. A noise drew my attention, and their conversation flew right out the door. “SHHH, I think someone is coming.” I said lowly as I strained my ears to listen more carefully. Something was moving close by, but I couldn’t make out what it was. It sounded… big. I took a big sniff of the air. There were many scents down here that was mixed in with the old smell of the underground bunker, but I couldn’t pin point which scent belonged to the thing… to the creature belonged to. “C
